and minimum of 3 ​matches.

Box lunch includes: Turkey wrap, whole apple, bag of chips and bottle water

on the printable registration forms at check-in. (Waivers are attached to the registration forms)

For those that want to cheer on our athletes and to see them bring home the gold here are a few tips:
Best place to view the event & how much you can see: 
Seating Available or bring your own chairs: Standing room only.
Admission Fee: No admission
Concessions: Restaurant on-site for food and beverage.
Carry-ins allowed (food &/or drink): No carry-ins.
Merchandise: Platfrom tennis balls will be available for purchase.
Are Signs or Noise makers allowed: Can bring signs and noise makers.

Platform Tennis Rules Cheat-Sheet

  • Scoring is the same tennis - 15, 30, 40, game
  • Switch ends of the court after every odd game (1, 3, 5, 7, etc.)
  • All games start on the deuce (right) side of the court
  • The following point is played to the ad (left) side of the court
  • Alternate serving to the right or left side every point
  • Sets are played first team to win 6 games by at least a margin of two games
  • If set gets to 6-6 a tiebreaker will be played to decide the set*
  • Matches consist of best 2 out of 3 sets
  • Platform tennis is mainly a doubles sport
  • For a shot to be considered “good” it must first land in your opponents court within the boundaries of the lines
  • If a ball hits any of the screens first and then lands in the court that would be considered “out” and you would lose the point
  • The ball is considered “live” until it has hit the ground twice
  • There is no maximum amount of times the ball can hit the screens
  • When serving players receive only 1 serve
  • There are no service lets (ball hits the net on the serve). All balls that land in the court are played as good
  • If a ball hits the court and bounces over the fence the point is award to the receiving team (Team that hit shot loses point) 
*Tiebreaker Rules
  • Tiebreakers are scored first team to 7 win by at least a margin of 2 points
  • First point of the tiebreaker is served to the ad (left) side. The next point is served to the deuce (right) side
  • Alternate which side you are serving to similar to a game (ad, deuce, ad, deuce, etc.)
  • The serving team changes after the first point and then every 2 points thereafter (1, 3, 5, 7, 9, etc.)
  • Change ends of the court after the first point and every 4 points there after (1, 5, 9, 13)
