Check Weather

The Nordic Ski events at the  Badger State Games are set to go this Saturday and anticipating all races running as scheduled.   There was about  5-6”  new snow on Monday which was the good high moisture variety.   So conditions are currently very good.    Due to anticipated warm temperatures on Friday, we will be closing the entire Nine Mile trail system on Friday to protect the base.  We ask your cooperation and stay off the trails.   Online registration remains open until midnight on Thursday at .  There will be on-site registration, but we encourage early sign-up as it will make your life so much easier.  All bib pickup will be done on Saturday at the venue.   If Friday’s warm temps force us to make any changes, we will send updates to SkinnySki and post on both the Badger State Games and Wausau Nordic Ski Club websites and Facebook pages.
